I try to keep fellow veterans up to date on free tickets for UK athletics. I found a resource at the Kentucky Veterans Center that is giving out free UK tickets. If your interested call 8592571148. They will reserve your tickets and have them waiting at the will call.

I am a veteran; however, I sadly have drill this weekend. Can you call the Navy and get that moved?

We have a home station drill this weekend. I have already secured my tickets and hope to get out by 1800 so I can go.

Good...you had me freakin out for a minute. I drill in Louisville, and ours is the following weekend. What's your rate/rank? Do any active duty?
I've heard that too but I am Active Reserve Guard and not a student and they reserved 4 tickets for me. I don't know why they aren't allowing all vets to receive these tickets.
If your a student you are eligible for student tickets. So this student/veteran thing really isn't helping those who are attending UK.
It could have been that word go out and the demand was too high. Don't know for sure, but that would make sense.
Why is this so hard to figure out. If you are a student you can get $5 tickets. If you are a veteran you get free tickets.
So you have to be a Student that is a Vet to get in Free....So all this Vets get in free talk was a crock of Bull Chit. UK pulling one over on Vets. SMH..

Whether the demand got too high for the tickets or what ever reason, UK has changed the SOP from yesterday to day. I am a veteran and currently serving on active duty with the national guard and I would never try to fool other veterans.

Although it would of been a good gesture sure, to be fair to the school they did offer this early in the year for New Mexico State. And very few of any took advantage.
