head of Friday night's Louisville and Clemson game, the ACC has released its initial player availability report for both teams. The Cardinals are nearing the return of a starting linebacker and also have a key member of the secondary on the injury report.

Louisville looks to keep its season alive this Friday night. The Cards face off against Clemson, in what could’ve been a bigger game than it has become over the course of the year. The tigers are 4-5, fighting for a bowl game berth, while Louisville is trying to shake off its recent defeat.

Despite the overtime loss to California, one where the Cardinals were double-digit favorites, Louisville still has a chance at the ACC Championship Game. The Cards will need some help, but they’ll need to win the next two games against Clemson and SMU if they want a chance.

Some of those drives ended because of penalties causing us to kick the field goal. Why does a big lineman have to go low to block? The size of his body should be able to block without doing that.

Once again a receiver wide open thankfully there was a penalty that wiped out a huge gain by Clemson. Our pass defense hasn’t played a good game since the Miami game.
