Goal Posts at U of I

The goal posts at U of I appear to be college/pro width. Also no high school hash marks.

Is that the case? If so, that is not right.

This is quite possibly correct. There has been talk about the goal posts in the past. The College/pro size makes it harder (more narrow) and I think the IHSA is OK with that, it just can't be easier (AKA wider than required).

JCA potentially lost a semi-final game due to this many years ago.

At Joliet Memorial? I thought colleges played there. (JJC / St Francis)
Both. Illinois currently has high school goalposts up.

Memorial stadium in Joliet now has adjustable goalpoats. It is true that a few games were decided by FG or extra points hitting the old college posts. I want to say the ‘98 Bishop Mac game was an overtime and A FG or PAT hit the upright to cost the Hilltoppers.
