No impact at all. It’s 40 in Marietta, GA and had been cold much through the Plaines and eastward.So did the cold temperatures favor the northern teams more today?
The results might look like that, but the temperature change was so drastic and rapid I don’t think the northern Illinois teams had much more time to get acclimated than the southern teams.
I spent 18 months (including 2 winters) stationed in southern Indiana ... trust me, there was no respite from winter. Just as bad as Chicago.
A good day for the South Suburban Conference. Only big school public conference with two semifinal teams.
