Good luck to East Surry against Reidsville. Just try and keep it close as y'all have a far better chance at that than Mount Airy in their rebuilding year. Don't get overwhelmed because of who you are playing, just play your game. Probably the best 2A team in the state. I don't even want to listen to next weeks game, a blowout for MA. Wish they had played them last year this time of the season. It would have been a loss but closer than this year will be with 8 seniors. Safe travel and injuries for both teams. Go Cardinals !

My. Airy or East Surry (or any other team in the area) has never been in the same class as Reidsville. Good luck to East Surry.

No defense for the Cards, Tarboro is going to hit them in the mouth again.
Reidsville and the Cards both no doubt can score, but they are both playing a team with no defense, Tarboro can beat either or both of them.

Those Reidsville radio announcers should have have done a little more preparation for this game. I guess they assumed they would only be talking about the Rams.

We’re good. Unlike Reidsville we have a GREAT defense. East Surry & Reidsville player piss poor defense.

Idc if it was 100-99, this win is a big dang deal for East Surry. Any criticism of anything East Surry did tonight is unwarranted.

When was the last time Reidsville got beat by a 1A team ?
Fill sorry for Mount Airy next week as Reidsville will take this out on a young Mount Airy team.

Don’t be indirect. I gave credit where it was due. Come on a combine points of 100!! Lmaoo there was 0 defense in that game. Those are the games that ppl love!! We all know football & know when defense is involved it won’t be that many points scored. Smh

That’s a statement win. That’s the Gosnell everyone talked about prior to the state championship game last year...and now he’s pissed! So now all the polls can put East Surry #1 and they are in the drivers seat. Honestly, I’d love nothing more than for Tarboro to finish the season undefeated and #2 in the polls behind the Cardinals.

I want that to happen too. Tarboro is always better as the underdog! Gotta figure whoever comes out of the East will be the dog against East Surry

Tallest QB in the state and multiple WRs who are over 6 feet including one who can play ANY position on the field and committed to NC State.. that's props to East Surry coaching/players and a bad job on Reidsville part.

Yep we have to get by Edenton first. They beat Northeastern tonight. Isn’t that funny. Both of the 2018 2A championship game teams got beat by 1A teams tonight.

Gotta get there first fellas. We might not make it back again. Never know what might happen. Gonna enjoy the off week and see what happens in conference.
