probably in the 1930's when there was only an A and AA.....never happened in recent memory...of course we never play 1A schools...East Surry might have 1A or 1AA by their name...but this years team is not your typical................
I would not like to have a losing night with a team called Mt Airy coming to your house next week LOL they are young but if they can quit beating them selves with penalties and turnovers they may be tough just need complete game on offense mt airy fans we need not accept defeat here we can compete with them and possibly beat them
Tarboro’s secondary could not keep up with the passing attack of either of the teams that played tonight. Could they win yes but by controlling the ball of offense and keeping the defense off the field because those offenses and the real deal!! If Tarboro wants to win don’t get into a shootout or East will run away with it by the half!!

East surry good job, but talking like tarboro can’t stay on the field with you guys is Insane. Edenton had just as an impressive win last night.
Major props to East Surry but yeah Edenton's win is pretty close to as impressive. Im not sure how much Northeastern brought back from their title appearance team but I really thought they had more talent than Reidsville last year and should've won that title game.
UMMM they kept up with it last year, your offense did not score, well a field goal. Your two big offensive weapons were limping in the 2nd half. Two players are the majority of offense . Not taking anything away from ES they have alot of talent and play very well but don,t diss Tarboro's defense Yes both teams have different game plans, yours are quick score, Tarboro,s is ball control, clock management,wear your middle out with 230 lb fullback and burn your edges with speed and play DEFENSE. I was impressed by ES kicking game against Reidsville great punts and kickoffs, field position was in their favor most of the game.
You look to far ahead. It only takes one hit to change the dynamics of a team. A injury or two can change a teams destiny. It happened to your team, remember?

None of us have ever said anything of the sort. I do not think East will stop the power running of Tarboro. But I also don’t think Tarboro can stop East Surry’s passing attack!! The team that gets the big stops in key moments will win!!
You don’t get it do you this years team is a different animal than what you faced last year.
Not that they would have lost to one anyway but in recent pass but unless I missed one which I easily could have , I glanced at the Reidsville schedule on Maxprep which go back to 2004 and I didn't see where they have played a 1A from 2004 until last night.
