Long eventful season for the Cards and Cats.
Kind of a rebirth.
I didn't know much about your coach, but I'd put him up as legit COY material. At the same time Pope has dine wonders with mirrors and smoke after the MASH unit season Kentucky has had.
Basketball is st its best when Louisville and Kentucky are in the mix. Nothing better.
Best compliment I can offer is I hope you guys go far in the Madness...and I really don't want to play you all again....I doubt my nerves could stand it.
Good luck guys.

Well, the MASH unit is here at Louisville with two main players out for the season in November. Then there's Smith, Traore and Waterman missing multiple games. I think Kelsey has had it worse than Pope with injuries.

Well said! For the first time in three years I am going to fill out a bracket!

Yep I think both programs/squads/coaches really mirrored each other.

First year guys with great reps, but unproven in power conferences having to build a roster from scratch via the portal. Then faced with injuries and having to steady their ships. I think each are likable people with almost identical first year results. If you swap the schedules, you’d probably swap the records and projected seeds. Kudos to both!

If you were to take all the UK & UofL players that's are out with injuries & put them on a team together you would have a Top-25 team.
