He's set up to make a case for UNLV to join another conference if he keeps winning. Mullen will be in big 10 or sec again pretty soon.
Nothin rhymes with Schaufele!!!I will forever blame you for introducing me to that "so ridiculous it's funny" routine during the Masters.
I now can not see or hear "Tony Finau" without rapping .... Tony Finau, where he be now? or see some SM clip of a big street/restaurant fight and not rap ... It's goin on in the (Vicksburg/Cincinnati the most recent examples).
(make sure you post it again next April)
I mean, I don’t really pay enough attention to have a strong opinion, but from a 30k foot view, it looks absurd for Iowa to even be talking about it, if they really are.are you arguing for or against his firing?
Your post was sarcasm. I get it now!I mean, I don’t really pay enough attention to have a strong opinion, but from a 30k foot view, it looks absurd for Iowa to even be talking about it, if they really are.
Iowa State is Big 12. Iowa is Big 10 or whatever it’s called now.8, 10-win seasons in his tenure. Granted Big 12, but just crazy how NIL hits and they have fallen so drastically. May have been prior, but it’s a tough damn sport as a coach.
I almost forgot about the People's Eyebrow! Not sure about that but I distinctly remember one going 8-4 and then 6-7 and telling everybody "This is my school, this is my team, this is my program, and anyone who thinks otherwise could pound sand and kick rocks. You'll have to drag my Yankee azz out of here."
View attachment 926474 His "Yankee Azz" was promptly dragged out 4 days after the Music City Bowl as it should have been
The post you quoted and responded to, about 8 10 win seasons, is referring to Gundy and Okie State.Iowa State is Big 12. Iowa is Big 10 or whatever it’s called now.
And it’s not really obvious Iowa has fallen from the record. Not sure how easy their schedules have been, but since 2021, they’ve won 10, 7, 10, and 8 regular season games. Been to the conference championship twice in that time frame. Not much success in the championship game or bowls, but it doesn’t look obviously different than most of his tenure.
he has a limited offense and makes up for it with good coaching otherwise and defense and special teams. Maybe he’s had some ridiculously easy schedules hiding how bad that record is, but it looks like they’re just a typical fan base that is tired of a coach that is good but not going to win them a championship. They’re almost certainly going to downgrade after him though.
Yup. Definitely lost the thread there. Yea, Gundy has dropped off obviously. Surely that's not all NIL.The post you quoted and responded to, about 8 10 win seasons, is referring to Gundy and Okie State.
...I know, confusing as hell when multiple teams are being discussed.
It’s like having a battle of wits with an unarmed person! Not particularly challenging however.
