Army, and yes still half base pay pension after 20 able to draw immediately.

I was in for four years - that was enough for me. I do, however, chat with many military retirees .They've all found good civilian jobs and are doing quite well financially Best of luck to you.

Not a vet myself but my old man was career Army and I grew up on bases in Germany and Alaska. The Army took good care of us.
