Hertford County/Northeastern

They run the spread and can mount comebacks without eating much clock. They will struggle with a power run game and that's exactly what SWE has. Hertford county has fire power and are very comfortable in a shootout.
Hats off to HC for the win. I was def hoping NE won this. A major prob with NE that I've seen is the defense doesn't adjust. There are very few plays when they use a safety. The big plays from HC came from NE leaving their 5-6 dbs on an island against 6'3 wrs. They make very few defensive adjustments in game to help their team win.
This is what I've been screaming the last 3 games for NE. They haven't made the adjustments like they were earlier in the season. You are exactly right though. Hats off to Hertford county, it's a big win for them. Imagine that a Bertie guy wanted Hertford to lose.

They came from behind to beat my Panthers last week as well. Their QB is a athlete and is very calm under pressure.
Hahaha you change your tune so fast. It went from beating Havelock u said now you told us so??? You talking down about the QB after he went down. NE is who we thought they were.... not even top 15 team. The one hit wonders is over in Ecity hahah
I heard on the radio the QB ran the first play from scrimmage 70 yards for a score then threw about a 65 yard TD on the second possession and the play he got injured on to go up 14-0. Hope he’s OK
Hang in there goob. It aint over till its over. NE will recover and be a force in the playoffs, I'm counting on it. Meanwhile the Punkin Heads are stepping up the pressure. Oh and by the way, hows the Eagles Basketball team look to be this year ....Sorry I couldn't resist ..........
As of right now wrh is the favorite out east. Still a lot of ball to play and with some of Ne non conf wins you can't take them lightly
Very true, but the question is, did our qb really get injured or was this the chosen game. I honestly thought it was gonna be against First Flight. Just can't wrap my head around this, I mean HC will go 2aa. Coach Moore knows what he's doing so I stand behind this decision. It's a proven fact that we play our best on the road.

If ya really dont like playing at home go ahead and drop a couple-3 more and just maybe you can come to the Corral as a 15-16 seed and beat the crap out of the Stallions in the first round. Although I would like to give James Kenan that honor ...
Time to hit the panic button in EC. Think Proctor is out for the season with a shoulder or broken collarbone injury. Another poster brought up a good point. It's tough to win games win you leave your corners on an island versus 6'3, 6'4 WR's. Throw some safety's in there. Northeastern was getting zero pressure on the QB. He was getting it out quick. First time Northeastern has lost 3 in a row since 2007! I see Northeastern losing maybe one more game before playoffs. Most of the team are juniors, which will set up good for next season.
Also Northeastern's enrollment is steadily dropping due to the early college and charter school. Northeastern should be 1A next realignment, which is crazy considering at one point they were 4A with Rose, Conley, Northern Nash, New Bern, Kinston, and others
