If it is a groin strain, hopefully it is mild. Even then sometimes it takes a couple of weeks to heal. It's actually more concerning than it looks which is often the case in non contact injuries. Didn't appear that he took a hit.

Wise decision by CPK; you could by the expression on Chucky’s face that it was not serious. I expect today we will hear a more positive report on his leaving the game.

Chucky didn't look concerned, his teammates didn't look concerned, and he had no ice or heat on his groin area.

Seems to me it was something he has probably dealt with before and knows what to expect.

He may have came back in had BC made a run to tie the score, but the opposite happened when the Cards expanded the lead, so Kelsey had no reason to bring him back in.

But if he has to miss the next game, there isn't a weaker team to play than Miami. The Hurricanes are as bad as the Cards were the past two seasons.

As Chuckie goes, so goes the Cards...he is irreplaceable. That simple. Groin injuries are notoriously complicated. I say rest him, then rest him, then rest him. Take a couple L's in the process. Get him strong for the ACC trny and take our chances with a late run. We can't risk prolonging this injury

I think there initially was some miscommunication but the trainers indicated that he was not available to return to play.

He also did go back to the locker room to receive some type of treatment.
