How intense is State interest on Richie Brown out of Long Beach*

be forewarned, all of my information is 2nd/3rd/4th hand as i do not subscribe to recruiting sites....BUT richie brown is a top target for msu, he went hunting in the starkville area recently to "see what its like" and he was at the bowl game after stopping in starkville that same day-all or some of this information could be all lies lol its just what i have read around the web. i think i saw where he said he ran a sub 4.4 on his highschool track, he has serious speed but he doesnt play at sub 4.4 speed yet from the video....now b. brown, that dude plays at 4.4 speed, check him out on youtube.
as for liggins, big interest in msu and coaches want to have 3 scholly QBs on the roster so they will make room for him, he is ours to lose at this point. i think he visits like bama and lsu in the coming weeks but i dont even know if he offers from them as a QB, or at all. he wants to play QB.

With both browns and ward. Not crazy about jamacus liggins. If he were to be a qb at the next level then id be all for it but its highly unlikely that he is and there are other position players that we need more. We these elite defensive players to get us to the next level. What sucks about all of this recruiting is that we get excited about these guys coming here, while bama and lsu fans would be disappointed in signing them.
at least neither of the Browns have a brother on a team we are competing with needing a scholarship as far as I know.
I know Sherrill had some good uns, but did he ever have three 5 star defensive line players, one 4 star LB, and one 4 star CB? Plus several 3 star defensive guys.
Well I guess technically he did get a ring in 2003. But not exactly what I would call evidence that he can help you win a national title.
I thought he was on the 2007 team, but now distinctly remember him being interviewed on the sidelines in his Bama Boy necklace that was ridiculous.
because even if for some reason he doesn't go to Bearville I'm personally not convinced MSU is even his second choice. For whatever reason I'm just feeling any love from him.
comraderie, state that neither of these players checks in with me to give me updates......however, it is my understanding the brown did not in fact attend the music city bowl. that has been reported but i believe it is incorrect. and liggins may end up at msu (although i'd bet signficantly against it) but "ours to lose" is as far from correct as one can get. and while my info on brown could be incorrect i will point out that i'm the guy who told the pack last year well before signing that ole miss would sign 7 of the dandy dozen..........and....wait for it..........we did. so until i get all rosebowled, i'm going to trust my info.

Richie is a wildcard. I think it's us, USM, TN, or maybe even UGA. Richie has played his recruiting perfectly. Never naming a leader. Never putting himself out there to piss anyone off. Also, if he committed to us, hardly anyone knows about it... so I'm not sure that's true.

Richie Brown attended some Music City Bowl practices in Starkville. I don't either believe he was actually at the Music City Bowl itself.

We just got a major boost with both Browns and any other defensive player we may be in competition with them for. These were Tenn's two best recruiters. It speaks volumes to the sinking Dooley ship over there that they'd leave for a lateral move to Washington.

polite but since you insist....r brown did not go to the bowl game as the poster claimed.. that is a 17ing LIE. and the idea that liggins is msu's to lose is 17ing insane. i will not categorically say there is no chance in hell that he signs with msu but i will say the odds are better that brooke decker will knock on my door tonite and ravish me.so the poster's assertion that he is msu's to lose is not correct. that taking enough ownership for you?
