Hypothetical poll: Would you rather have Lebby or Mullen as the head coach in 2026?

Yeah 1000 percent, but this is pretty much a pointless conversation. Our best bet is to get some better assistant coaches

I'd take Orgeron over Lebby, and Ole Miss ran him off.
I would take Mullen knowing he'd ditch us after getting us to an 8 win season
I chose Lebby bc I don’t think retreads have a very good track record. They typically don’t have the same fire that made them successful the first time.
Is it more common for a retread to be good again, or for a good with a really bad record to suddenly become good?

Neither. But if those are the 2 choices it’s not even a choice. Not Lebby.
HC’s and good assistants can only coach up 2 and 3* players so much. To really make a difference we also need - lot of 4*’s and a couple of 5* DL/LB wouldn’t hurt.
Listen the truth is beating ASU was a last minute miracle and Arkansas beat themselves with ridiculous penalties. Easily could be 3 instead of 5 wins
I never really liked Mullen, but I would take him back in a heartbeat over Lebby.
I’ve been critical of Mullen in the past and I hate the way he left us in 2017. But in the words of the late, great Rush H. Limbaugh III, Mullen could out coach Libby with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair.

The only thing worse than hiring a guy who can’t coach is hiring a guy whose name is one letter away from a dead pedophile. Even still I’d pick Jeffery Epstein over Jeff Lebby to coach State if I was force to pick between them.

I don't know if Zac Selmon and the big money boosters are reading this thread, but if they are, I hope they see that 85% prefer Mullen to Lebby and take that into account.

I was so ready for Mullen to move on because of the exact thing we saw today at the University of Northern MS, but, given the choice I can't think of any job on campus I'd even want Lenny to do starting tomorrow.....
I don't care if still has the fire or not and I'm not jumping up and down wanting Dan back. Given the 2 choices, it's Mullen without question.
If this is the plan, we’d better fire Lebby before Kentucky hires Mullen.

Lebby would have to go 8-1 next year to pass Pittman's career SEC winning %. (Which isn't very good at 14-29).
