Finally, the monkey is off our backs. Back to a bowl game and at least a punchers shot at the SEC East title. Stoops has done wonders with our D, Gran and Hinshaw have done wonders with our O. There is little to complain about at this point. I'd love to see us end the season with 2 1000 yard rushers and a record of 7-6 or 8-5. What a turnaround. All of BBN should be proud.

Im with you OP. thought our odds of going to a bowl after southern miss were very slim. Left so little room for error. But this staff has done it. We're beating the teams we should beat. Gran has to be considered an A+ hire at this point. Major credit to stoops and co.
Same here! I've been critical and didn't think there was a chance in hell this team would turn this thing around like they have after starting 0-2, but I'm glad to have been wrong. Just read an updated bowl projection from SBNation (not sure how credible this site is) that has Kentucky vs. Miami in the Taxslayer Bowl. It's fun to read these projections now to see where we could go and who we could end up playing.
Agree 100%. Now, let's hope there is enough excitement to get butts back in the seats at CWS. Everyone, please, get to the game next week, if you can, and support these kids and staff.

When I left the stadium after southern Mississippi I was convinced thisis the end of the Stoops era. If the guy can steal a win or even two he should be coach of the year in the SEC.
Just a great effort by the staff and this group of players. The USM loss still stings b/c we'd kill them today. I'm already thinking about the season opener next year with them. Time to go rough Georgia off then crack the code on ULamar and their sleezy coach.
