In the buzzard game, they said they coin flipped for the home team for the second
game. That is dumb as hell. Why not just switch it for the second game and flip for game 3 if necessary.

Why is Tenn the home team game 1? Did they coin flip for it too?

edit: apparently this is the situation according to Knoxville news site. USM should be home team for 2nd game.

The Golden Eagles will be the home team Sunday as the losers of the initial coin flip. The Vols would be the home team Monday if a third game is necessary because they won the second coin flip.

No, they said they coin flip for games 1 & 3. Game 2 is the opposite of game 1, so Southern will be home.

I misheard them apparently. I’m a dubmass
Meh, the announcers weren’t straightforward. They’ve been off the whole game and chalked it up to the long delay last night.

The color guy also said regardless of the outcome of game 1, this was Scott Berry’s last day in Pete Taylor Park and the play by play guy had to remind him that if they split today, they’re playing on Monday.

In 2018 we were in the Nashville super regional. Game 1 and 3 we were the home team. In Game 2 Vandy was. Games 1 and 2 both ended in walkoffs and game 3 was the craziest game I’ve ever seen us play in any sport
