I want to get to 6 without beating a team like that...i know thete is some type of rule you can only count teams like the Governers once every 4 years??? I would rather save that for if we really need it...i would like the governers to be win 8

No, it counts every year. Only the second FCS team within the same year doesn't count, but UK only schedules one a year anyway.

I want UK to win every game we play but at this juncture there is no shame in getting to 6 however we can and getting a valuable month of practice and sending Toth, Timmons, McClain, Miggins etc out with a bowl game and hopefully a bowl win.

And in another thread you try and act like you know more than me...wow! You can't even get the rules right for FCS wins in a year for bowl eligiability. A win is a win. You play who is on your schedule. Bowl is all that matters.

Have you ever been happy with anything in life or do you always ***** and complain?

About ten years ago used to be rule as you could play and count a division 2 (what they were then and not fcs) game. Once schedule went to 12 games they allow you to play one every year now.

Actually is was Division 1-AA. Division 2 is another level below.

You can play them yes...but i thought there was a rule that said you can only count a win like that as part of your 6 wind toward a bowl once in 4 years??? I didnt make that up

I think that was when I was in college (30 years ago). And iirc it was once every two years. But that is iirc,
