This game was right there for the taking.
My lord, you can't even make it up. Either horrific pre-snap penalties to kill promising drives or dumb decisions by the QB...one or the other killed us all night long.
And LSU hasn't even played well!!!! I'm not one to spew the "well, we beat ourselves" nonsense, but we most likely would have won this game if not for false start penalties. And they aren't even the kind of false starts you can blame on the crowd, b/c the crowd really hasn't been that much of a factor. They have been completely unforced mental mistakes.
Just demoralizing to lose like this.
