I, like many of you were watching LSU/Bama, but did anyone notice...

that Nick Griffin ran for 80yards on 10 carries with a long of 34 and a TD? I know it's UT-Martin, but it's really the only game he's gotten more than a couple carries in a game in his career. Usually it takes a game or two of a lot or reps for players to get used to game speed. He might be pretty good. Let's hope so for next year with the loss of Ballard.

I watched both games. Nick Griffin ran well. He hit the hole well and ran hard when he got through it. I've been looking forward to watching him run since he got here. Between Griffin, Robinson and Milton, I believe we'll have an adequate replacement for Ballard next year.

he got run down in the 4th qtr on a read play that any decent RB would have easily take to the house. Not fast enough to do anything against the SEC

has been deemed unworthy of SEC play because of one read play.

I remember when I used to watch Mike Hart at Michigan, and he wasn't exactly a blazer, but the cat was a beast in college. He even put up pretty good stats against Florida when they played in the Capital One bowl. 129 yards on 32 carries and 2 TDs.

it did look like he stumbled a little bit. His legs probably felt like jello since he hasn't really carried the ball that much in 2 years.

Mullen said postgame that he still isn't 100%. He just tore his ACL in the spring. It's amazing he is out there so fast.
