He was an underrated pro. Played around 10 years, made an all-star game and his career averages aren't bad. He blew out his achilles (I think) and wasn't the same player afterwards. I was watching a ton of NBA during that time and he always seemed like a player you wanted on your team.
I love tough players who play with some hate. That's missing from the NBA right now, the players are all friends - I hate that.
If a current player did the Laettner foot-stomp people would go bananas and the game would stop for 15 minutes while the ref's huddled over monitors analyzing it like the Zapruder film.Originally posted by WVUeerFan1:
