Looking to get rid of cable. Already on Netflix.
I have Apple TV. Thinking about getting on Hulu. I think the only question I have left unanswered is how to watch sports (really just osu games)

PlayStation Vue was the service discussed in that thread. I believe their middle tier for $35/month would cover you for all OSU games.

You can sign up for a free 7 day trial. I messed around with it, but unfortunately I think I'll stick with the "cord" for another two year teaser cycle from Cox. It looked you couldn't pause live TV, and I don't think it had fox oklahoma to catch thunder games. I also don't think they had local channels yet for okc. With those drawbacks, the cost savings didn't seem that lucrative. In another two years, who knows?

There's a good in depth article out on the interwebs somewhere that i read a few weeks regarding cutting the cord. Some guy went through a bunch of different scenarios, and his end result was very little money saved over a year, and a lot hassle juggling between the different subscriptions.

I'd like to see that article. Cut Cox in favor of Playstation Vue a few months ago and I've already saved quite a bit. I think one of the determining factors is what you pay for high-speed internet every month.

I did. It worked much better than sling but the controls for the stream on the vue app were extremely limited once it was casting.

As a point of reference, I thought that the Netflix app allowed much better control over a casting stream.
