had a defensive player pretend to be hurt so it slowed MO's tempo. Now again, they might have been hurt, but every one of them missed like one or two plays and was then back at full speed. I noticed MO fans started booing after it happened the fourth or fifth time. Scared me at first because we can ill afford any injuries, but then I began to see it as great wisdom. Who knows? What did you think?

I think they were pretty much all legitimate injuries, but most were likely so minor they normally would walk off the field or throw some dirt on it and get back ready for the next play. I think the coaches may have said if your hurting go down and use that to slow them down, but I don't think they were faking it. Well except for maybe Westry. He goes down every game.

I thought it was suspicious. I worked out well for us today, but it's a cheap tactic if you're faking injuries to stop play and I think there will be a remedy for it at some point.

Maybe make any injured played sit out the series instead of rolling them back in on the next play.

I would think this might be legitimate if the game was actually kind of close, but why worry about their fast paste offense when you're handling their offense without much trouble and they can't even get into their pace anyway...?

Nearly every team uses that tactic. Some are better actors than others.

During the Syracuse Louisville game I brought up uofl doing it. Certain posters bragged about it being a good coach. When ky did it against nmst same people were complaining about Kentucky being soft. In this day and age you are better to go down then Lino off the field.

Its within the rules, and as long as it is, I dont give a flip what tactics we use to get a win.

That tactic started back when Sam Wyche started the no huddle/fast pace thing with the Bungles back in the day.

Lanky spindly-leg guys with low body fat are prone to cramps. Me, not an issue.

I don't think anyone faked an injury. I believe Boom Boom was out for several plays. You can have a cramp or have the breath knocked out of you, both are legitimate injuries and are usually ok after a couple of minutes. I see nothing wrong with being cautious and taking them out of game. go cats
