It's possible that we could lose 3 of 4 down the stretch as those teams will be favored and yes the microwaves will be cooking the ish out of it . The goal for this year should be a bowl and show the ability to beat who you're supposed to , we are going to accomplish that with a chance for more .

Next year should be a better bowl by beating the teams you should and one or two that you shouldn't have . Building a program is done incremental , especially if you have been downtrodden forever . We're making progress , it's obvious to see if anybody wants to .

Well ,no ,no and no,did I mention hell no.There are folks who still aren't thrilled with Stoops and may never be thrilled with him(and he is not the greatest thing since sliced bread) but he has bought himself a few more years here. No one will pay any attention to 'fire Stoops' for at least the next two or three years.

Yes people will call for his firing. Can't stop that

Just play decent football. Win what you can taking some risks and have fun. Kill Austin Peay and get that bowl chance

People will complain but screw em

I'm with you, Doc, to a degree. I think the turnaround this team has made should easily take him off the hot seat for this season, and he should remain off of it unless we have a run of really bad losses next season.

I think Stoops is really starting to get a grasp on being a head coach. I believe next season, after becoming bowl eligible and having all of that extra practice this season, will be the season that really defines him and our program. If we barely scrape by on six wins and we don't play competitive in games against teams that are a bit better than us, I'd pump the breaks on him being a good head coach. If we go out next year, beat all the teams that we clearly should, maybe pull off an upset or two, and play competitively with the better teams, I'll start to get really excited about Stoops and our football program.

Right now, I think Stoops has turned the corner as a head coach and I'm enthusiastic about the potential of what that means.

If they win the bowl game I think a majority of the fanbase will be satisfied for the time being. Will need to build on it though going into next season.

Of course it would start again.
Some people think that only a former big time coach is the answer
and they will never admit that Stoops can build a winner in the SEC...

I think some of the fringe will be calling, yes. I think the people who hopped on that wagon (including me) after the Florida game won't.

I agree that the fire stoops crowd will come out in full force. They all say that the goal was to go to a bowl and build from there. Well the bowl game is there this year. I say enjoy the rest of the season and maybe best the teams were not expected to win. Win the bowl and build on that next season.

I think it depends on how we look in the final four games. If we are competitive I think there won't be much talk, but if UT and UL slaughter us...then yeah, people are going to be disappointed. Regardless, the bowl game has been secured. That is what is most important this year.

The day after one of the biggest wins in years and one of our "fans" comes up with this ish. My God, I hope you're not indicative of the fan base writ large.

Geeze buddy, just put your penis in a vice grip and slam it over and over again with a hammer. You'll be horribly deformed and ghoulish, but at least you'd be interesting.

As another poster said, i think it is how we look. If we get out there and UGA, UT, and Louisville smack us around like Florida smacked us around then there will be a whole lot of unrest. However, if we lose to UGA the same way UGA lost to UT then I don't think there will be any huge unrest, but it will be very upsetting. If we lose all three in tight games then we will have to like that we are fighting hard and competing. We very well could lose all three, but I think that we can at least get one win out of those, and it is probably against Georgia.

I don't have any idea what will happen in the Tennessee game. I have no idea what kind of team Tennessee is. They seem beatable, but they also always seem to show up to play Kentucky.

I would not be calling for his removal barring very unlikely circumstances

Were where i was hoping we would be last year but i think we can make a good jump next year.

It shouldn't! I've always said that a coach needs 5 years to prove himself, but in the 4th year, he needs to show improvement. Coach Stoops has definitely done that. UK has 18 or 19 players coming back next year, which gives us maturity and experience.
I look at the changes Coach Stoops has made, and I'm impressed. Let's remember, Joker left the cupboard bare, and Coach Stoops has done a good job of getting some good players to come to UK. I think with the improvement we are seeing this year, we will see better players coming to UK in the future. I don't know about most of you, but I haven't given up on Willis coming to UK. Also, look for more players from Florida to commit to UK in the future. Ohio will not be the only pipeline, but will remain an important one.

Hell no we are going to win out!! Pressure is off to win 6, I say play keep away, and run it down thier throats!! This should a fun ride to the end!

I'd like to see our D to turn it up, and try to score now when we get the lead!! More important have fun! They have accomplished what they needed to, but could do so much more. They gotta be sharks with blood in the water!! The team as a whole just needs to play hard, and the wins will come.
