I think most just have no faith UK can blow a team out, especially on the road in the SEC.

I think most of us will take a 1 point win and be happy as that clinches a bowl almost certainly.

Cosnidering I just got five points at the local casino I think you would have to be stupid not to celebrate a one point victory.

And cosnidering is a new word I just invented, means the same as considering.

Their D was garbage "before" they lost their best D player and another last week for the yr.
I see UK dropping 35-42 pts on them.

They are not coming here.

This is the first thing - all of our wins have been at home.

Secondly, like many other teams, our performance vs decent passing offenses has been suspect:

#24 Southern Miss - loss
#51 Florida - bad loss

MSU, USCjr, and Vandy all average less than 200 yards per game.

The one win we have vs a potent passing offense was versus #22 UNMS, who gained 500 yards and scored 42 points without their star offensive back and a starting OT.

Consider that Missouri is top 20 and the highest ranked passing team we will face outside of Louisville.

Missouri struggled with MTSU, but they are much different than us as they are a Top 10 passing team and avg 550 yards per game total.

They also lost to Top 20 passing team West Virginia in Morgantown.

Their other losses:

At Florida, at LSU, and by one to UGA.

Missouri strength of schedule as of today is #29.

UK SOS is 67th.

I agree with the others suggesting we focus on the ground game and control the clock.

This is a game we can and probably should win, but there are reasons why we are not a unanimous pick.

The fact that Kentucky has won only 10 road games in 10 years is sobering. That is why I am concerned about this game regardless of how banged up Mizu is.
Wow! I'm not sure that is a legitimate factor in Saturday's game but it is a fairly stunning stat.

Peace
