We would of gave BAMA a real game yesterday and thats the fact! Everyone happy about the first qtr lol. Screw moral victories I hate them and they do not put W's in the win column. I am sorry but I refuse to support Stoops and fall into this trap of 5-6 wins is okay. We dumped to much money into program year 4 to be this much of SUCK! Truth hurts but that is the truth. He loses to Vandy he NEEDS to GTFO!

I disagree we give Bama a great game unless the coach brought new players with him. Now to be fair, if we had a better coach maybe he recruits better than Stoops, but recruiting is the one thing Stoops has done solid at by UK standards so I'm not sure how much more we'd have there.

Plus, if Bama viewed UK as a legit threat we'd gotten a better effort from them OP. I'm sorry, but we didn't get near their best shot. I agree as well that if Stoops loses to Vandy he should be fired (he won't be though as Barney is a joke at this point).

Truth be told, Alabama wasn't worried in the least about winning the game. That they were somewhat surprised by our fight, it was inconsequential to the outcome. Saban took his foot off the pedal out of respect for CMS. Anyone on here who thinks otherwise is living a fantasy.

Scoreboard wise, we did better than USC. The real one, not the east coast one. The same as WKU(point spread wise). Much better than Kent State. Only team to do better is Ole Miss, and that was at Ole Miss.

The game was closer than I would have expected...

I would not have any problem with the Alabama game if in fact this was year 1 or 2 or even 3 of the Stoops era. But I think many of us have a problem with moral victories (28 point loss) in Year 4 after three successive losing seasons. We realize as well that there is little improvement from last year as evidenced mostly by the Florida Game . We were fortunate to score 6 points while Ole Miss (not one of the traditional SEC power houses) scored 43. I guess many of us are wondering if 28 point losses against U of L in the next few years will also be considered moral victories by the fan base?

Our president is also an academic who wants to use the basketball and football recourses for Uk campus endowment. We've got big problems with the guys running these programs.

If UK loses to Vandy, Stoops would have to beat Miss State, Missouri and one of UGA/UT/UL to make a bowl game. The chances of that are razor thin.

I'm not for firing a coach mid-season, but Mitch may just have to cut his losses if we lose to Vandy.

Academics are lazy (relative to the rest of working adults). yes, they busted *** to get to that level with the hell that is a PhD program, but then they work literally 15-20 hours a week at their big boy job and make solid to good money (by the end of their career) doing it. Yes, they have to research/perhaps publish, but not a bad gig if you can get through PhD. Obviously Im talking more professors but same applies to Barnie and company.

I agree 12 million is doable. Let's not be cheap.
