what a fantastic game of baseball. And hell, I don't even like pro baseball and only typically watch the series.

Had to watch early innings through 10th through a beach volleyball game, but that is how baseball was meant to be played....

Dislike the Cards, but this was a great game, and how the game is should be played. Tomorrow night should be epic... Berkman is related to the Honey Badger, cuz he doesnt give a **** and Freese finished through that one...

Kidding (kind of)... That was awesome. I think I'll actually watch the game tomorrow. Can I get a 'What to watch for' from somebody in the know? I haven't seen a playoff game this year and I'm totally out of the loop.

Let's say the excite-o-meter for football goes from 1 to 10. If you put a baseball excite-o-meter beside it, it would only be from 1 to 4. An average football game is still more exciting than the best baseball game.

Games like last night are about as intense as it gets in sports. I couldn't sleep after that game last night, and my team wasn't even in it

missed a damned thing. I would much rather watch highlights on Sports Center than to sit and watch 4 hrs of balls and strikes for what amounts to 5 minutes or less of excitement.

I may be able to help you out. My father was a big Cards fan, I am too because of him, and he told me it was because back in the day the only baseball you could get on the radio in Mississippi was the Cards broadcast. So it being the "only game in town" he became a fan. This might be why other people here are Card"s fans. Hope that helps.

I just don't see how you can call yourself a "sports fan" period.

Hell, I never remember my wife ever watching a pro baseball game with me and every time I turned the channel she would get mad at me and even couldn't sleep afterwards.

football game was over. I stayed with it to see who won and because Moreland is a local boy. I couldn't help but think that that was as exciting as baseball gets and how absolutely boring it was. It was like watching paint dry. That's personal preference guys, baseball is just awfully hard to watch. It's barely doeable in person but on TV it's just awful.

You have to remember, baseball is not just an athletic event that features the single hardest thing to do in sport (hit a baseball), but it is also a thinking man's game. Those who don't appreciate it likely don't have the capacity to understand it.

It would have been humanly impossible for me to watch baseball over college football. Not gonna happen. There's another football game on tonight! I can't remember who's playing, but it doesn't matter.
