Brohm would do a complete 180 on the key hires we've made the last five years. They've all been replacements for less money (salary). U of L and Brohm can reverse that trend down.

But hey, we rejected Jurich twice. Anything can happen...

We will see but I would be surprised if Brohm wasn’t the #1 guy. Have to make him say no.

Devil's advocate, if JB doesn't come,would UofL fans be opposed to seeing JH go after Clint Hurtt? I saw this on social media somewhere. He's currently the defensive coordinator with Seattle. Just feeling out the room.

I'll take a shot. In listening to Josh's speech about an ideal candidate, who he uses Jay Wright as an ideal candidate, I don't think Hurtt fits the bill based on past discrepancies. I have to admit I don't know what all was truth or fiction but don't think Josh wants someone with a tainted history. Plus Hurtt has been in the NFL now for awhile and the college recruiting landscape has changed. Just my 2 cents.

No to Hurtt. There are many choices out there and there will be a ton of interest in the UofL job. We have a great conference affiliation and outstanding facilities and ideal academic situation for young kids.

Yeah, says someone that just joined this board a couple of months ago. You got me. I’ve been pretending to be a Cardinal fan for 50 years. I almost made it to 51 years under cover. ;)

No offense my friend. I wasn’t talking about your fanhood!. I was talking about Strong’s alleged affair with Jonathan Blue’s wife. “Cardinal Rod” was being used as a double entendre for Strong’s man parts.

I saw some pictures from Charlie's football camp for women. I wonder how many of those women came out of camp walking a little funny from all the squatting and bending over they had to do.
