8/22 Providence Day vs Weddington ( Thursday night game at 8pm)

These 2 games will be played at American Legion Memorial Stadium
8/23 1st game Hough vs RH Northwestern 5pm ( Not a good start time in Aug.)
2nd game Ardrey Kell vs Providence

Interesting to see how these teams does opening season.

Hoggard @ Cleveland
These 2 teams had not played each other until last year. Cleaveland beat the Vikes 28-20 week 11, then Hoggard then beat Cleveland 51-35 in the 4th round of the playoffs. Now they will meet for the 3rd time in 13 months. Cleveland should be favored in this game as they return a lot of talent and 1 of the best QB in the state and they are home. Hoggard graduated 39 seniors. They have some nice pieces but have a lot of holes to fill.

N-C at West Hendo ; Just an interesting match up ; Last yr West Hendo beat Newton 54-22. I can see a more competitive game but that’s a long trip for the Red Devils
