I am thinking/hopeful some of those rankings rise up over fairly swiftly

Thanks Tom. Do you anticipate that Levi Haines will be at the 157 weight class or Bearclaw?

Bartlett and Van Ness have to start somewhere in the rankings but should be much higher when all is said and done.

I believe we see both Haines and BearClaw next year until a decision needs to be made. With that line-up, I suspect we don't need Haines. Give him a year to solidify the Hammer Time status. Heck, Facundo isn't a lock to go imho.

Injuries are always a wild card.

Are there any indications of a portral transfer? Last year's transfer at 197 (Dean) sure helped the team while transfer at 125 did not work out well in post season. From the above rankings 157 could be our weakest weight this season. I forget what at weight Haines will wrestle but he sure looks like a future AA.
What the lineup is the first match is not necessarily the lineup we go with in the post season. Clearly the remaining champs- RBY, Starocci, Brooks, Dean, and 2023 top contender at heavyweight Kerkvliet are givens barring injury. Key for 2023 and the future is whether 2 or more young wrestlers step up and become AAs!

Facundo got his mojo back at the u20 WTT. Don't see anyone in the room taking his spot.

I don't disagree, but we might not need the points. He seems like the kind of kid that if he takes his RS, he could be in line as a four timer. I would also add 165 is really stacked. Maybe one of the toughest overall weights.

I can easily see 5 individual titles for the third time in Cael's tenure. Is that right? I believe 5 individuals is the record. Does this team have any shot at 6?
