It hard to keep up with the changing NCAA rules, but I believe he would also have to request a waiver of the five to play four rule. And, since he has already taken a normal redshirt, that waiver is seldom granted.

Johnson has been sacked 1 vs NMSU, 4, vs South Carolina and 2 vs Bama

3 of the 4 in South Carolina were on Johnson

I don't remember if it was a sack against UF but Barker got blasted hard on one of the first plays from scrimmage. Maybe he got the pass off first!

Last I heard, UK said he was rehabbing and would be evaluated for playing during the bye week.

He got blasted for a sack the very first play of the game. His confidence was shot from that point forward.
