Anyone else besides me get a great deal of satisfaction watching Alston Jeffrey let that ball go through his hands to get picked by the Saints killing the potential game winning drive for the Eagles? Couldn’t have happened to better big mouth crap talking jerk.

After the first qtr Foles was 10-22 for 60 yards and two interceptions.
The football Gods said "Not again Mr. Foles" after that 1st quarter. :)

But they still had a chance at the end if Alston Jeffrey [edit: Alshon Jeffery] could have caught that ball right in his hands.

Nice to see the ship righted. To bad the Bears didn’t get it done but glad the Eagles are out.

LOL, I just cut and pasted the name from something else and then Mark must have done the same to my quote.

Alshon Jeffery

Yeah my iPad kept wanting to auto-correct his name. I got his last name wrong too. Good thing MC63 is here to catch those things. :)

Even if he caught that ball and they score, there was plenty of time for the Saints to put together a drive and kick a field goal. I’ll bet Alshon doesn’t go on the Today Show for some kind of redemption.

You can dish it out, but ...

Over spelling mistakes? I don't recall that ever happening.

My guess is that you're still butt sore over me responding to your liberal whining about athletes praying in public or your dissatisfaction with gun control laws. I must have struck a nerve.

I guess that's a possible scenario but there was no way he was going to score on that catch. If he would have caught that ball, it would have been Eagles ball at the 2 minute warning deep in Saints territory with several plays left to possibly drain the clock and score the go ahead TD with little if any time left on the clock. Not saying that they would have scored a TD but we will never know. Several reports had him being inconsolable in the locker room after the game. Now, contrast that with how he reacted to Parkey's misfortune last week.

From the Trib:
"Jeffery's waving of "bye-bye" to Bears fans followed comments before the wild-card game in which he said, "I love the city of Philadelphia. Chicago is just when I was there for work."

Has there ever been an NFL game where the two starting QB's went to the same high school other than when the Mannings played each other?

It would take a person with much tougher stuff than a guy who obsesses over Apple's marketing gimmicks.

My iPad ate my homework.

Leave politics out of it.

"It’s thought to be the third time in NFL history that quarterbacks from the same high school will play against each other in the playoffs; Terry Bradshaw and Joe Ferguson of Woodlawn High in Shreveport, La., faced off in 1974, while quarterbacking the Steelers and Bills. Sunday will surely be the first time two opposing playoff quarterbacks from the same high school both own Super Bowl MVPs." https://www.washingtonpost.com/spor...layoffs/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.822ee8196609

I don't know about MC, but it's about time for my nap. :)
Kevin - I have a new lazy boy with electric controls -- far superior to old manual (where you were limited to 3 positions.)

Happy Snoozing.

I'm on my way to the Early Bird, even though I'm not hungry.

Lazy boy? Does it have a remote? Can you plug in your phone?

You can plug a phone into some of them ... but why would you need a remote if you're already in the chair?

Cupholders are pretty common ... but on the larger sizes.

Call now for delivery by Sunday.

I think Alston sounds more distinguished than Alshon. Perhaps I was doing him a favor? Henceforth, I shall refer to him as "Sir Alston Jeffery the Third". No idea about "the Third" part but it sounds cool.

I think he meant a remote for the TV not the chair Mr. Grumpy.

TVs already come with a remote. Why would you want Lazy Boy to provide you with a second? It would have to be a universal model and those can mean $$$.

I have to tell you, it couldn't have happened to a better guy. I don't like big mouth athletes and Jeffery has a big mouth. Poor guy was inconsolable in the locker room? Too bad. Make the catch. We couldn't have picked a better guy to f*ck up. The Eagles were lucky to be there in the first place. They won a playoff game on a f*cked up kick and then lost a playoff game on a f*cked up reception. Oh well. I have never liked the Eagles in the least and I am very happy to see them gone. Good riddance.

By the way, did all of you see the Bears schedule for 2019? A tough one for sure. Outside the division games the Chiefs, Chargers, Saints, Giants and Cowboys all come to Chicago, while the Bears travel to play the Eagles, Raiders, Broncos, Rams and Redskins.

The Bears will definitely have to have a good road record next year.

That's definitely a tough schedule. The trip to Denver to play against Fangio will be interesting.

Yeah, I agree. And it doesn't matter what kind of team Denver has, it's never easy to win there. The Bears are 3-5 all time in Denver.

The Eagles have now beaten the Bears 4 times in a row. And the Redskins have a 7 game winning streak against the Bears. The Giants have beaten the Bears in 4 out of the last 5 meetings. But they have owned the Rams in 6 of the last 7 meetings.
