5 years now. We get maybe a dusting every now and then. Enough to take a sled out and get pissed off.

I hate this.

We've had some snow on the ground since before thanksgiving, had about 18 inches in the last two weeks. Hell, may not see a lot of ground again till the spring. My son loves sledding in the driveway. You should just move north man.

I've bitched about this for the last 5 years. I know I'm probably a minority at my age of people who want to play in the snow, but I really enjoy it. One my simple pleasures in life.

But since the big snow storm around 2010-11, we haven't gotten dick here in Claremore. The weather gods jacked me off pretty good last year, it seemed to snow like for a while but it was a really fine snow that didn't accumulate for ****. Same ol 3 inch bs.

I know growing up we used to get some pretty decent snows, at least a decent 6-8 inch snow every 1 to 2 years. Fond memories of riding the three wheeler like a grinning idiot and sliding all over hell and back. Loved it.

I hate weirdo weather patterns (except for cooler summers), hate warm falls and dry, warm pissy *** winters. Something sucked the life out of potential snow falls here and I of course have now clue why.

That pic is either really funny or sad as hell, depending on how you look at it. That's the radar from tonite. I'm sure the "snow" areas didn't get that much, but just watch, I will post similar radar pics all winter long, it's looked exactly like that for the last 5 years. Always a clear or no snow area right here in this same damn mother*^#}{ing area.

Maybe it's the nitrogen plant just across the highway lol. I dont know. I'm miserable. And self deprecating humor and sharing my honest grief seems to help lol.

If cooler summers and more snow is what you're after, you gotta move man :p

I just moved to Indiana this past summer and love it here...now my wife is already getting contacted by universities in Fort Collins and Boise....so it'll be chilly either way...

We like Fort Collins a lot. In fact it was on our list of places to consider when we moved.

Bailey, Co
Fort Collins/Loveland, Co
Wimberley, Tx
Stillwater, OK
Skiatook, OK

We love it here. So glad we chose this area.

Careful what you wish for, Rulz. We were without power for eight days in snow and ice about 15 years ago. Only good to come of it was a 10-kW generator that I still use once in a while today.

I'm no longer in the Claremore area Rulz. You can't blame me for this any more.

I will do some crop dusting in the local Walmart where I live today in your honor if that would make you feel better.

I recently went to a wedding in Shiatook. While there I drove around looking at land. That is a really nice place IMO. Also you are right outside Tulsa for the big city feel if you want or need that.

I was going to buy a lake house up there at Skiatook awhile back. I ended up with one in Grove, but I sold it a few years ago.

Skiatook has come a long ways from what it once was. So have many places in northeast Oklahoma...but not Claremore. We have more ******** living here now, but nothing for shopping or dining. And I blame the Robson family for a good deal of that ****. They have blocked a lot of stores coming in around here just so they don't have any competition for their precious Walmart fart starter.

Owasso, a town that wouldn't even allow a movie theater back when I was in high school, has all kinds of stores and dining. We are stuck with two sonics, two Braums, two McDonald's, and a rib crib. After that, it's the same old bs save for a crappy BWW, which has probably the worst service out of any restaurant in northeast Oklahoma.

Yup, I would move, but I have family ties that keep me here and many other reasons I can't leave. So I will continue to sniff Walmart farts when I need something in a pinch that I can't wait for on Amazon. Yeesh.

And I wish I could say the Walmart farts were an exaggeration, but the last two times I have stood in line I have been blasted by no less than the equivalent of a 40 megaton bomb full of sulfur produced by the bowels of a really fat nasty ***** with an attitude in the checkout line and some dirty *** old dude decked out in squat gear in the automotive department. I have ****** luck, pardon the pun.

Just an atrocious state of affairs here in Squaremore, where people's asses don't care anymore. Maybe it's the every 15 min trains that stop people in traffic and leave them hopelessly trapped in their cars between their last sonic burger ingestion and the promise of some time on their precious porcelain throne.

Need snow. Now.

Rulz take the family on an annual ski trip. I love snow but in Austin we average one light snow every 10 years (big winter climate change from even DFW 3 hours north).

I'm finding a week in the snows out west every year goes a long way in scratching that itch. And it gives my kids snow memories in childhood they would otherwise never have. They love it and it's great family fun.

There's some momentum now. And Frank doesn't "block" anything. We've simply been seen as a Walmart town by investors.

Aggressive rural annexation from the south has also been a hinderance, at least on the residential side. Most of the boutiques downtown are doing extremely well, and when the Will Rogers is converted to condos and the tavern opens up, things will start moving faster in that area.

None of that will help it snow, however.

Tis the season for more ********!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA-FA-LA-LA-LA!!!!!

The weather dorks are saying it will snow 5 inches in Squaremore!!! Just saw pics of glorious gobs of glistening and glowing snow all the hell over Alva on FB.....my wife was rattling her head about snow here....and everyone is just grinning like deep fried fucktards at the thought of some snow here in Rogers County!! BEAUTY!

Well, I learned my lesson! I bought some more shorts and flip flops, got my SPF 100 sunblock ready, because it DOESNT SNOW IN THE LAND OF 15 MINUTE TRAIN INTERVALS AND WALFART!

You got a better shot at falling prices than falling flakes, and the only only falling flakes we will see here is the occasional fartass that comes stumbling out of rib crib all drunk on barbecue sauce.

I saw it on the weather channel earlier in the week. I never believed it.

Neighbors were all squawking about it all week. Again, I never believed it.

Now we have like 5 inches of rain. I believe that.

Might as well get some beer, cheap sunglasses, a naughty ***** with a bad tit job and some really ****** 80s music on cassette tape and go floatin in the neighborhood like I'm at the the Illinois river back in 89.

I noticed that phenomenon this morning.....do you have a dozen coal fired power plants encircling your house? Magma outcrop just below the surface? Radioactive waste depot?

It's certainly odd.

I have always watched the weather closely in the winters here, basically because I'm a snow nut. I can't figure it out. As soon as it got cold enough for snow, the system moved out. It rained for 48 hours strait almost, and then....*poof*....magic.

And this has been a repeating pattern for 5 years now. Everyone around us gets some decent snow, but this bastard *** hole doesn't get a #^*#ing THING over 2-3 inches of pure piss off.

I bought a jeep Rubicon in 2010. We had that big blizzard that dumped 22 inches...yeah I know, aberrant occurrence to be sure. But we usually got a couple of snows a season over 5 inches. If I sold that jeep and bought a corvette or Camaro or Challenger or anything else I have thought about getting...we would probably get a foot of ice and 2 feet of snow. Funny thing about that...I had to work in western Oklahoma during that time so I didn't to see it. Western Oklahoma....where it snows like hell a lot of the time....they didn't get anything like that then.

Maybe I'm radioactive. Nah, just an unlucky sap ******* when it comes to the weather lately.

Stay tuned. The forecast has called for snow around the 8th (it goes back and forth). Hilarity will ensue....

We got a dusting of ice. Like 0.5 inches, and a **** ton of rain before that.

That doesn't surprise me. A couple years or so ago, it snowed pretty well down south (like Bixby I think), and up in Vinita. We got like an inch. It's been this way for 5 years. This started out as kinda funny, but it's getting really really old lol.

We didn't get even a dusting. Some flakes fell, but they might as well been frosted fu*%#ing flakes because they didn't stick to dick. Stone Canyon, a neighborhood near Owasso and not that far from me, their ground and trees were all covered and I see where Tulsa had a decent covering.

Nuthin here as usual. Just a bunch of GOTDAM F+^%IN PIECE OF F*^#}IN SH*& MUTHERF*%#IN STUPID *** WALMART FU*^%# BULL*%}}!!!!!!

Dude, I hear you. I live out by RSU, nice little hill going down my backyard as well as the neighbors. I drive by Will Rogers Memorial everyday and see that hill, begging for a snowboard to go down it. I need snow. I go insane without it for too long. Summer can suck my balls, all that fun and sun **** depresses the hell out of me. Went to Red River last weekend to get it. Might be heading to Loveland today.

This is like even worse than the last two years, hell, we at least had a little bit of snow on the ground a couple of times. Not **** really, but enough to stave off the thoughts of renting a snow machine.

What really sucks is that the shooting range in Owasso is still flooded all to hell, the only bays open are the ones where you have to shoot with like 5-6 other ********.

And I hate people. Want to be alone when I'm practicing.

I'm being punished.

I saw sleet hit the ground last night.....

...and the temperature shot strait up faster than a trailer trash squat fan to the Charlie's Chicken drive thru on first-of-the-month government check money.

I grabbed two flecks, made a mini-sleetball, threw it at the dog and went to bed.

F*%# THIS WEATHER.
