Can't believe I'm not seeing him talked about on here.

Badet is an absolute stud. He will be playing on Sundays for somebody.

His speed is elite and he has the best hands on the team. Hell of a player.

Still don't like the way he carelessly laid the ball down after barely crossing the goal line. Others have done similar things this season and it cost them.

He turned and set the ball down after crossing the goal line. That's not really that careless. It's nothing like dropping the ball or flipping it backwards as you cross the line. That's extremely dangerous and you see it bite people all the time. Badet was fully established in the end zone and placed the ball on the ground a yard deep. Once it breaks the plane and it's TD then idc what he does with it as long as it doesn't result in a penalty.

Nonsense. He clearly had control across goal line as he placed it in EZ. I call it classy.

Point to another play where ball carrier had clear control past GL & it "cost them".

He slowed way down, looked to his left, then placed the ball LESS than 1 yard over the line. Now, imagine that 1: it slips out a tad early; or 2: he gets blind-sided by a defender who's rapidly closing from the right, and nails him, causing a fumble.

Just run hard through; leave nothing to chance, that's all I'm saying.

It is stupid to do what he did just like McWilson last week flipping ball as soon as crossed line ...run with the ball through the end zone. It's the little things

He put the ball down as soon as he crossed the line. It isn't like he flipped it backwards. Don't see the problem with what he did.

But he laid it down inside the endzone. The only way he could possibly do that was if the ball broke the plane.

I understand the need for concern, but laying it down in the endzone and dropping it right before running in are two completely different scenarios.

You don't think he knew he was on a one on one and the only guy around him fell? Better to do that then celebrate and get a penelty.

He had a nice start to the year last year. Made a big catch at South Carolina and the. Came up gimpy and never really done much after that. Could of had an effect. Kid has elite speed for sure.
I agree. I think he should be getting All-SEC status. Killer speed and very good hands. I definitely think he is over looked.

Honest to goodness. Some people never cease to amaze me. These kids are making game changing and season changing plays and we have knuckleheads on here complaining about how they did AFTER they scored. Just ridiculous.

True. But nip it in the bud now. It's called discipline.

I get it, but it is still 6 points if you set it down 1 foot in the end zone or at the back of the end zone and it wasn't showboating in any way. He hustled back to the sideline.

I mean, it's common enough that it is a legitimate and prevalent issue. A lot of the time, it isn't an issue. However, what if there was no "after the score" because of a bone headed error?

Neither of these plays warranted that though. Badet and McWilson did not do that. This is like complaining because one of Aaron Harrison's last second shots didn't strip the net.

First, I'm no knucklehead. I loved the play, EXCEPT for a POSSIBLY flubbed play as he crossed the goal line. You want knuckleheads? How about the handful of idiots who tried something cute and it backfired? Did you like that? Is that what you admire as swagger and moxy? Just run the damn ball well over the line, THEN lay it the hell down. Geez. Ask 100 coaches. You'll get 100 answers the same.

I think "Possibly" is the key word here. Nothing happened. Nothing was in danger of happening. I do agree with you on the coaches though. Good point there.

He put it down on the other side of the goal line. I don't think you could find a more clear example of the ball crossing the plane.
I wish there was a way I could like this 50 more times.

The fact that he placed it on the ground inside the end zone makes what he did 180 degrees opposite of the guys who flip the ball right around the 1yd line. He controlled the ball the entire time and it was clearly in the EZ.

About time he quit playing so soft and start going after the ball.

Yes, he is pretty good. Don't remember hardly any drops, excellent speed and knows how to go get the ball.

I didn't have a problem with him putting the ball down, but he did slow way down just before he crossed the plane. I thought that was an unnecessary risk.
