This guy was the number one defensive end in the country in high school. Assaulted a girl before the season and got a hefty one game suspension against South Alabama. Of course he played against South Carolina and forced a fumble immediately. Doubt this guy would have ever set foot on UK's campus. Look out for him Saturday.

We shouldn't have any girls on the field.

But yeah, he would have never made the first day here. I'm glad we aren't a win at all costa program but it is a big disadvantage.

get real, if Simmons had been cut loose by State or UK, the rest of the SEC would stamped to get in line to sign him. lead by holier than thou Saban & his self-serving preaching about how he signs & keeps troublemaking kids to save them, that not giving them 'opportunities' will result in even worst outcomes.

UL would shove their way to the front of the line.

UL would make him a team captain just like D. Fields. UL is win at all costs and nobody seems to care. Certainly the NCAA and media don't. The only thing we ever hear from the media is UL is ranked in the top 10 and have a Heisman contending QB. They could care less about Bobby's past or the criminal transfers they take in every year. Just win baby!

I don't know the details of this case, but you can get charged for assault for just pushing someone.

If MSU booted him I have no doubt that he would be at UL by now.
That was the reason Mullen and then AD Stricklin gave for not dismissing him - 'cause he would wind up at Ole Miss, TAMU or Bama... See, UK is bringing knives to a conference where the battle is being fought with nuclear weapons. We suspend guys for blocking too hard in games...

The conference as a whole is dirty as hell. Look at all the shenanigans at Bama, Auburn and UT over the years. Now Ole Miss has joined the party and that's how they've moved up. We dismiss our guys on allegations but yet this turd is on video beating a woman and he misses one game against a scrub opponent. Dispicable!

This is why I have little hope of ever being relevant in the SEC because we're a bunch of choir boys competing against cons and felons (UL included).

It's weird he would act that way. Seems like such a good group of people he runs with. Some real classy folks in that video. Strange he picked up thuggish behavior somewhere.

"knives to a nuclear weapon fight" funny and sad...

So then riddle me this. if we never hear about the pasts because people don't care. THEN WHY DO YOU CARE and continue to bring up something that's irrelevant In this conversation? dude if Petrino would've came here and brought a player like Jackson and had uk with 1 loss right now (which is by no means crazy to think) everybody and maybe a few would've been like blah blah I don't care for him but everybody would've been off their rockers about him. Give the dude a break. He cheated on his wife ok he'll never do it again he made a mistake he knows that. he's got A LOT more to worry about than another chick trust me such as getting his football team to a playoff which may be a stretch but still plus he's got a kid half way through the season who is the heisman trophy front runner. And no matter how much you, me whoever hates him he doesn't care so as long as people have his name in their mouth he's still getting publicized either way so let them keep getting 4 star rbs who are ranked number 2 overall rb in Florida and we shall continue to whine about our rival teams coaches mistake he made 5 years ago. GO CATS

Well first off he didn't just cheat on his wife. He was using University funds to hire the girl he was having an affair with. Should have been jail time similar to what Richie Farmer did. And most people care it's just t

No sir not even remotely close to what farmer did. But it doesn't matter don't even give the guy time of day. But like I said we all know nothing like that will occur again
