JK vs. Richlands

JK needs to take care of North Johnston Monday night to get to 2-1.

This game is a absolute must win.

I have heard that Richlands has improved a lot. JK QB has got to make quicker decisions with the ball. I know he is only a sophomore but it is time to grow up and play football. Defense has to play lights out and most importantly JK needs a full 4 quarter effort.

I saw Richlands play East Duplin the other Saturday night. Can't really compare them to other years because it's the first time I've seen them play in about 10 years. From what I saw solid defense, offense needed a little work. Should be a good one.

I would feel a lot better about JK if they were able to do that but we are a very young football team and I’m expecting this to be close. This will be a good test to see if we have grown any since the loss to Southern Wayne. I expect Richlands to be the second best team we have played so far this year.

Read in paper Richlands host Swansboro tonight. Not a lot of turnaround before Friday night. Hope for an injury free game.

Looking forward to another dogfight, every JK nonconference game will be a like this until they grow up and stop thinking that they'll win on success from past JK teams. Thinking that these teams are going to be defeated before they hit the field.

Clinton learned that lesson years ago. Because of the name on the jersey, you’re gonna get everyone’s best shot. And like you said, as soon as they learn that, the team will get better.
