Joe if your bracket is suppose to be about who would make it if the brackets were made today, how can you not even have Ole Miss in the next four out? They have a top 40 rpi and with wins over ACC, Big East, and Big 10 teams with the sole loss coming to Marquette. </p><h6 style="FLOAT: left" class="sn">Joe Lunardi

Ole Miss may be no better than the third-best team in its own state. The wins you reference are DePaul (wouldn't win the Horizon League), Penn State (worst team in the 12-team Big Ten) and injury-depleted Miami (at home in overtime). The Rebels one truly legitimate opponent beat them by 30 points on a neutral court.</p>

We've looked like an NIT team all year so far. That's Kennedy's MO. I don't envy you guys, because you never know what you're going to get with Stans. It could be a tourney bid, could be NIT, could be an emotional team breakdown and no postseason at all. It's a soap opera.

We know what we're getting with Kennedy every year, a team that's good enough in spots to win some games but bad enough to lose enough games to play in the NIT. There is no emotional up and down for me. I know how the story ends. Would I like to make the NCAA tournament? Sure, but I know we won't, so I don't have to stress about it anymore.

If not for an ACL break out in 08-09 that took out our back court, Kennedy would likely be working on a 7th straight NIT bid as a head coach. You can't teach that kind of consistency.

the ONE constant with Stans is that he 'OWNS' AK with a 7-3 record and a five game winning streak.

Think there are 'only' two players on AK's current team that have 'ever' played in a game when they have beaten State.

Of course I'd rather have a chance at the NCAA tournament on occasion. It's frustrating knowing that you're going to the NIT, and that's it.

It was a joke about our consistency though. You know with Kennedy you're going to have an NIT level of play every year. The holes and issues each team has that holds them back change from year to year, but the result is the same.

I should say it used to be frustrating, because it doesn't bother me any more. When I know how the story ends, I don't get caught up in the ups and downs along the way.
