Johnson looks like he has regressed IMO. A lot of underthrows and overthrows. UK was very lucky they were playing Vandy. A lot of Those throws are picks against most the teams left on UK's schedule.

Vandy is playing a 2 deep zone with the corners playing a cushion as well. They aren't giving us ANY deep routes. The pass to Conrad was thrown a hair too late and too flat and a few of the others were definitely affected by the wind.

Johnson has made great decisions today and played winning football. That's the bottom line.

I'll give Johnson credit to coming in when UK season was about to go thru the toilet and he's won 3 games. Can't do anymore than the wins he's gotten.

But man he's not going to win anymore if that is his throwing ability. He totally choked down the stretch of Vandy game is it was just UK's D (or Vandy's inept offense) that won the game along with UK's run game.

For UK to grow into the future...we need Barker to be the QB we needed him to be out of HS or we need another option very soon. I'll predict we'll not win another game this season outside of Austin Peay if this is all the passing we can do.
