Obvious, Scott hit us with our pants down. We are scrambling, no disrespect to Deion but hes not even being considered as HC just interim through bowl games to help our guys through this.

Glad he tabbed Deion for interim. Kinda sounds like Scott asked for an extension and none was offered. Also, based on both UL and UC pressers, it was Scott reaching out to Cincy first.

If I interpreted Heird’s comment correctly about “UL not paying $8 to $10 million a year”, it tells me he is not serious about competing on an equal level with our in-state rival, as I understood Stoops just got a raise to $9 million. While it may have been a realistic fact, it is not something he needed to volunteer.

It tells me that he’s not interested in giving a mediocre coach crazy money like barnfart did with Porky Stupes.

Also probably why he didn’t give Sunbelt Scotty another nickel…
