someone should start one of those tote boards like at workplaces that counts the days since their last accident but instead count our days since our last investigation lol, as thankfully things have been quiet lately. JH i bet has some part to do with that.

If UNC lands Bilichick you think tobacco row isn’t going with unlimited $ to buy players? He NOT going to recruit (beg) players to play for him.
We may think very highly of ourselves, but cannot compete with these traditional, and land grant universities for NIL. As we already know, our TV deal falls WAY short of them.
A “salary” cap is needed, and needless to say, that “cap” will likely be higher than most schools can raise.
Every other decision has favored the BIG and sec.

Does anyone else see what I see? Bill is a great coach but an average (at best) GM. He was starting to slide even when he still had Brady. When Tom left, the wheels fell off. He’s been sitting around for a while now, I just don’t know how successful he’s going to be at the college level. He’s not great at putting rosters together, and I suspect the game has passed him by. It happens even to the best ever. In any case, how long can he coach at his age? I’m not too terribly worried.
His hiring is simply the strongest signal from UNC that it is willing to pay any amount to try to compete at the highest level.
