I read an article last week where Louisville was the front runner for Nate Ament and they said it wasn’t even close. Last week is was Louisville $36,000, sUcK 20,000 and Duke was below that. This is what CJW needs to do with the women’s team regarding recruiting.

I guess I am an old, but I have no idea what’s happening. The money being donated, does that go to the player? That’s just one of the few questions I have.

This is why UL is recognized as a serious contender in both MBB and Football. However, WBB, WVB and Baseball are nowhere close to funding NIL for its respective athletes. All three of these “so called Non-Revenue sports” have national reputations, and deserve support, but risk losing competitive edge if they cannot attract the same level of talent that explains past success.

Thanks. I would hope so.

The way things are, the players hold ALL the cards (no pun intended).

It wouldn’t surprise me if a kid took money and went somewhere else. As far as we know, there would be zero repercussions. I’ve seen no “rules” on all this NIL.

Personally, and it won’t happen of course, but I think these players should PAY THE SCHOOL(S) for the opportunity to “audition” for the next level. Give scholarships to players who want an education.

But education is simply background noise in the NIL world.
