I would have bet money he would have ended up at UL . Surely they came after him .

There was a time where I believe I saw it came down to UL and AP. Of course I have no earthly idea how interested Louisville was but I would assume they'd give him a scholarship. Glad he found a home elsewhere and hope he succeeds and makes it into the NFL one day.

That can't be right. He isn't sitting out here is playing. Also, most that wanna come back to FBS go the JUCO route.
Austin Peay is an FCS team. I haven't kept track of things well since the change from D-I and D-II but I was under the impression you could play right away on an FBS team if you transferred from an FCS team. Which is why Tubman is at Austin Peay. Had he gone straight from Kentucky to another FBS team he would have to sit out. This way he stays in shape, develops a reel to show teams and gets to play. I may be completely wrong, these are just my assumptions.

At any rate congrats to Tubman for doing well. Sorry he never got a chance to play here. Would have been a heck of a football player.

Can FCS players come back to FBS teams without sitting a year?? Would love to have Meant, Tubman and hatcher back.

Thats just my assumption. I may be wrong. Remember Meant left here this season and he is playing now. I'll google it and see if I'm right.

Ok apparently I'm wrong. You can transfer down and not sit, but if you transfer up you do have to sit unless you're a graduate transfer. Or at least thats what the google machine is telling me.

Austin Peay may be his final stop..Lloyd is not one to jump schools if UK hadn't screwed
him he would never had left.

Met him a couple times at Nutter, very polite, well spoken. Seems totally out of character what happen, but hormones are in play in college, but he said, she said, sad.

I might be wrong but I was thinking that transfers can down but not up. From FBS to FCS can play right away. But not FCS to FBS. Unless it's grad transfer.

That's interesting. The APSU website stats show him 11th on the team in total tackles with 24, 3rd on the team in TFL with 6, and tied for 3rd in sacks with 1.5 FWIW, the official OVC site lists him with the same totals.

I wish Loyd the best. I've been keeping up with how he and Hatcher are doing this year. Hatcher is 10th on the team in tackles at West Georgia.

Had Tubman been a basketball player, he would not have left UK. Very similar circumstances to Chuck Hayes and he was elected to UK hall of fame earlier this year. The only difference was the sport. It makes me sick to my stomach the way Tubman was treated by UK.

That and twenty years of PC Culture eroding the presumption of male innocence in light of sexual allegations.
