Wow, what a turn around...

I'm liking what I'm seeing with Pringle, Middleton, Bell and Company....

Middleton will be an absolute beast next season. I'm kind of surprised he wasn't ranked higher coming out of High School in Kentucky. The guy has size and quickness.

It's unfortunate that Elam has disappointed, but overall I agree the DL play has been much better than many of us could have hoped for.

Middleton is a guy that carries 303 pounds really well. He looks long and lean out there. I am glad we got to redshirt cross and looney those two have bright futures imo both look lean for there weights. Cross will give us some athleticism from the nose guard spot in the coming years. Elam better get to work this offseason and really trim way down. Next year we will have a sr Pringle and Cross coming off redshirt Dubose and atleast one plug and play juco. Elam could be buried next year if he cant get his weight and technique down.

That is the best thing going. Putting Elam on the bench more. It let's the rest of the team know if you do not work for your spot, it could be gone.

If we get a ready to play Juco guy...and the coaches think he's worth tieing up a Scholly an extra year I say redshirt elam next year.

That said I'm highly skeptical he takes advantage of it if his past habits are any indication
Elam looks to have put back on much of the weight he had trimmed goING into the year. I'm sure the foot injury has contributed to that

I noticed that about Matt too. Didn't look good Saturday. Beginning to wonder if there really might be an experiment to move him to the other side next year.

Praise for the work the DLine has put in this year ends up being yet another thread bashing Matt Elam. SMH

I've been very impressed with Middleton...glad he's only a Sophmore. He looks like he could grow into a top tier SEC DL by his Sr year.

I questioned reports that were put out prior to the season and a couple weeks and was hammered. All because I questioned it and said I trusted my knowledge of the game over a recruiting analyst..

Thrown to the sharks. And, my premium account has since been banned. Don't question the powers that be.

D. tackle Adrian Middleton I remember was vigorously recruited by coach Charlie Strong before he departed for Texas.
D. end Eli Brown another young player from Bowling Green is playing better in each game. Both guys play with chip on their shoulder!

Well I've played the game and the defense has improved immensely since the Southern Mississippi debacle. They will need to step it up more for the next two SEC games and UL.

What? You seem like your feelings are hurt. Did you know Paul Johnson, Sonny Dykes, Mike Leach, Hugh Freeze, and David Cutcliffe never played football?

Yep, but I always hear from UK fans "not enough high school talent in Kentucky for UK to have a thriving program".....

I've heard it for years. Total B.S.
