Lexington Yellow Jackets Hiring of a New HC?

The kids at Lexington High School deserve someone special. I’m afraid they won’t get it... for numerous reasons... first of all being that Lexington just can’t seem to get it right when it comes to hiring coaches. Is it a lack of applicants, a bad reputation... maybe both?

Rumors have it possibly being Devore Holman. Ex Davie and West Caldwell.
If Holman is the HC. I think he will do good at Lexington. If he can get support from the the higher ups and the fans. And gets more kids to go out for football.
That sounds like a positive for anyone. But, yes I do think he would be good for Lexington. My question is that I heard they were looking for a certified teacher. Maybe Holman has finished his certification stuff by now.
I kind of hope Lexington rebounds... It’ll be good for all around. I just hope that there are fans left who will return.
Last good crowd I saw out of Lexington was about 4 years ago when they started the year with 3 or 4 wins in a row. They almost filled the visitors bleachers at North Davidson. Didn’t turn out in their favor.
Going to a Lexington home game is really sad these days. The home side is just plain empty.

Odd it took since February 7 to make a hire. Not sure how anyone is hired if they have a hiring freeze.
