Oregon will score 80 at a minimum.Be careful what you wish for .
Because SMU was snubbed is your point I guess. I actually worked with a gal once who went to Liberty in the 80’s. It wasn’t a science role obviously. The committee bypassed the unbeaten FSU team in favor of the "better" team.
They reversed their logic with Liberty.
They got them both wrong.
Full disclosure: I admit bias against a university where the "young earth theory" (earth created 7000 years ago) is presented as a legitimate topic of debate.

In a way I actually feel bad for Liberty. They've had a wonderful season, amazing story, first year coach go 13-0, incredible really. But you just said it, not a single P5 school on their resume, just a completely different level of football. It's going to be sad when they look back and a 13-0 season is capped by getting routed by 60...What a mess the committee created. Liberty to a New Years day bowl without ever playing a single P5 team - almost criminal.
Maybe RU should go independent. Go back to playing Lehigh, Lafayette, Holy Cross, Colgate and a few Ivy's. Go undefeated every year and go bowling on Jan 1.
Both polls put SMU ahead of Liberty. I guess the other factors somehow made a difference (and they don’t factor in having a bad D).The top rated G5 gets that bid by rule. The committee’s only choice was SMU or Liberty. I agree with those who say they should have taken SMU.

Did anyone think Tulane would hang with USC last year in the Cotton Bowl? We know one team will be motivated and won't have anyone sitting out for draft prep. Maybe Liberty will win it.
Tulane had a MUCH better chance to "hang" with USC last year absolutely. Tulane had a P5 victory over #14 Kansas state on their resume. Liberty won 42-35 against Middle Tennessee State. For context here, Middle Tennessee played Alabama this year and lost 56-7 in a game Alabama had their backups in by the start of the 3rd quarter... NY6 games are meant to bring out the best of the best. This is going to be a bloodbathDid anyone think Tulane would hang with USC last year in the Cotton Bowl? Of course you think so. Maybe so but didn't belong here cause it's just like a political bomb.Nah, that was solid, too.

I am sorry but I didn't think my statement about the "young earth theory" taught at Liberty was all that controversial. I am not in any way anti-Christian. (I was a lector at Church today.) I appreciate the sensitivity training and shall comment on it no further.Of course you think so. Maybe so but didn't belong here cause it's just like a political bomb.
It's not anti-Christian - it's anti-moron. One would have to be a complete idiot to believe the earth was created 7000 years ago.Take your anti-Christian rhetoric to the CE board.
I'd hire an unknown Liberty graduate over an unknown Ivy League graduate in a heartbeat.Liberty has a 99% acceptance rate and is lumped in the #395-435 bucket out of 435 National Universities by USNWR.

I believe SMU's SOS was 103 with 2 losses (Oklahoma & TCU)Aside from the CE stuff here the good point Worm made is the Chairman couldn't even answer the question of Why Liberty given the strength of schedule. " Well they just kept winning"... Moron. FSU says hi.
Work in my law office.

To do what?Work in my law office.
My office is fairly small (not many new hires), but I throw any resume with an affiliation with the Ivy League immediately in the trash.Well if they were from Brown, Dartmouth or Princeton you may, may have a point.
Sounds like Liberty sent someone a F%{^ton ofAside from the CE stuff here the good point Worm made is the Chairman couldn't even answer the question of Why Liberty given the strength of schedule. " Well they just kept winning"... Moron. FSU says hi.
