UPDATED PREGAME: Texas RT Kent Perkins is out for sure (knee)

OU: Devante Bond did not come out with the team for warmups.

Well first off, Bevo XIV called in sick. So no Bevo. He's fixin' to keel over.

WR Daje Johnson - "not very likely" (Kirk Bohls)

OT Kent Perkins - "doesn't look good" (Kirk Bohls)

"Texas has no real replacements for OT Perkins, WR Daje. Will try again Marcus Hutchins, juco Tristan Nickerson at right OT."

I didn't no Daje was injured. That changes my score outlook in the prediction thread. Normally I like to see everybody at full strength but Daje is a little butt plug.

I have inside info that BEVO is not sick. He tastes just fine. More than fine, I tell you......;)

I like Kirk.
He is one of the last fellows in that profession that will actually answer your emails. (several years ago, anyway)
Oh, and believe me, he is not a longhorn homer...hardly.

He's uh, 'just the facts please'.:cool:

Leave it to the horn to pick the most gamey tasting beef whatever was.

Seriously, I've had some longhorn skulls. Had one with a rack that was 5 ft. 8 inches tip to tip. Sold it on Ebay for 95 bucks, to someone in (surprise) Amarillo.

However, there isn't enough spices and rubs in the world to subdue that wild gamey taste...it can't be done.

Which is why I'll always be a bit nervous before the kickoff. I believe in this Sooner team, so once the game starts it's that game only.

Oh, I always get the butterflies in my gut, even when we're playing Doormat state.

So, clearly that phenomenon is solely because my OU Sooners are about to take the field.

That's confusing...Bond says he's playing, but he didn't dress for warm-ups...I guess it's Shannon's last RRR.
