Good for you. And you know what old timer...If you could run a 4.3 forty and bench 225 over twenty times and had eligibility left I would be all for pandering to your *** also to get you on the field in it.<div>

THAT is the problem...not that we change uniforms but that we keep adding non-school colors! LSU's new uniforms are still ONLY purple, gold, and white.
Exactly, that is the only issue most people don't like with this new uniform stuff. I don't care if we monkey around with the uniforms, that stuff has changed many times throughout history. But please keep it maroon and white. Black has nothing to do with our colors, not to mention they look like ****. I know most people especially on this board want to play follow the leader and won't question anything with the black uniforms, but please just realize that they look <17>ing stupid.

some people actually legitimately like them. They don't affect me one way or the other, but to say that it is factual that they're look stupid is just being stupid. I don't really think we need black to be in our colors if the team wants to wear them since black is a neutral color just like white. You see a lot of teams all over that do not have white in their school colors, but white is still in their uniforms. I see black the same way. <div>
</div><div>ETA: Of course, I have to clarify that I understand that the inclusion of white (for the most part) is in due part of the NCAA. I still feel like we'd see a lot of teams have white in their uniforms even had the NCAA not made this mandatory.</div>

I hate the black uniforms, but I understand why we wear them and I'm OK with once a year for them. But in this case, using a small amount of gold trim in a special uniform for the Battle for the Golden Egg game is OK. It's not much gold, it makes sense when you think about the reason they're using gold, and they made it look good.

I think it is totally follow the leader. As well as the big *** cards with theOregonstyle pictures on them. Copy cat hack **** I hate it personally. But if it gets us someplayersthat can help us win some games I am fine by it. Whatever, just get the horses in the stable that can win a damn game.

or great any uniform State decides to use it will immediately look worse when they put the hideous MState logo on them. Until they figure out that logo is horrible and needs to go all of our uniforms will be second best.

(Purple, yellow, white)

Most of the schools that are coming out with procombat/whatever unis which don't deviate from school colors either already have a 3 color scheme or use white as a 3rd color. Otherwise you come out looking like a giant ***** like UGA did. We have neither luxury.

Black once a year is fine, but I would prefer silver.

Wearing special uniforms for a rivalry game is fantastic. I'm glad we're ahead of the curve for once in a goddamn lifetime.

I heard Saban talking about this on a radio show last year. He said that the players like getting all the free stuff that comes with the special coroporate uni's. They're just like you and me and the Oscar nominees, and they love that big gift box.

They probably enjoy the different look to a large extent, although I would bet that they like the gift box even more.

To me, the issue is that our colors are maroon and white and those colors should be prominent in any uniforms that we wear. i actually think that we've done a pretty good job keeping our look contemporary for the last thirty years or so.

Oregon has a great look for them but that doesn't mean that it's a look that we should copy. I do hope the players enjoy their gift boxes because win or lose they work hard for us and deserve to have some fun and some goodies.
