I'm hoping this is the thread to end all "LWE vs ???" threads.
Weeks back all the LWE guys were whining because LWE wasn't getting any love. Hope they're happy.
Is your Blue Devil avatar representing/in support of the 2019 NCAA men's basketball champs or the Warren Township football team? Asking for a friend.
Peotone. They return a ton next year too, could be an all-time great, greatest ever some folk are sayin'. Lemme start a thread about it.
I heard that the LWE Blue and Black scrimmage in August was and will be their toughest game all year. So YES, this is a credible thread. Not sure who won though.
Seeing how it's a given that "the only team that can beat LWE is LWE," it seems to me that any discussion of LWE vs LWE is futile. Where does the discussion start and end?
Giving the edge to the '19 devils. Barely though.
Sort of like that 1992 Dream Team intra-squad scrimmage that's rumored to be the greatest game ever played.

LWE is doing just fine showing everyone what they can do on the field. The Griffin faithful are very happy with where are Team is sitting.
Yeah I was surprised no one picked up on it. Maybe I should have said the hurricanes name is hurricane Ditka. LOL
I completely believe that LWE could possibly beat LWE because there would be no home field advantage and LWE is clearly the superior team.
Peotone could become relevant if the 3rd airport and Jessie Jackson can gain the Canadian supporters he had before his vacation. Until then Peotone’s sports moment will continue to be the Will County fair with the pedal car tractor pull. HS football is a distant third to that and bingo in the Tone.

Also Zvonar reads these threads and received board inside information that sprinklers were on at GBW for the week before the game and switched spikes from 1/2” to 1” which created equal playing field and gave Beast running clock in 3rd Q instead of 4th
Joining in on the fun. Actually LWE's 2nd team probably would go 6-3 in regular season. Losing to NC, HF and BB. I think they beat Crete and LWC and Andrews.
