All that NIL money and 10yr 80M contract doesn’t seem to be helping them anymore than it did Jimbo and A&M. 8M/yr and can’t figure out when to kneel and end the game.

If money is used unwisely, it’s just wasted resources.

We were shut out 1 time this year- @ Iowa
Miami did not shut out any P5 teams. In their wins- they actually gave up an average of 24 pts

The improvements were significants, lots of injuries and very poor QB play from a player that was supposed to go the NFL after this season, we were in every game this season in the last 2 minutes with a chance to win or tie including # 4 FSU on the road and Miami with a freshman QB. This team plays very hard and it’s very physical and fast, looking forward to a great.

We did a lot of pregame analysis for each game
Against Iowa, many thought we would really shut them down offensively for the entire game, based on their games to that point

Here, figuring 24 points or better for us looks like the goal

Iowa was an interesting game/situation...we just came off the OSU game where we really played them super well and it felt like we could match up with almost anyone.
The great fear was also the Iowa fans and just how hard it can be for a visiting team. And the fans did play a big part. Iowa also schooled GS on coaching- There was no one that expected them to come out throwing as well as have their QB running up the gut on us and Greg just never adjusted.
And funny how games do this- just the week before, we came off the OSU game thinking we could play with anyone and then we come off the field in Iowa- and didn't feel like we could hang with anyone. lol

My thoughts are that looking at stats of other teams does not indicate what we should expect when we play them

Like you say, Iowa threw the ball better than previously, and the up the gut QB runs, unexpected

I was surprised at how we had trouble with the Iowa crowd noise, since we have played in huge away stadiums and huge crowds

The problem at Miami in their post NC history has never been talent. It's been coaching.

Iowa was bad offensively all season, but they elevated above the **** show level against RU.
