With our business, traditional Friday Saturday goin out nights don't always present thensekves. So the wife and I are in OKC for a random Tuesday night date.

Where to go? Good food and beer/wine with a cool atmosphere? Spend about fitty bucks kinda gig.

Here's a few that are exclusive to OKC, all downtown.

Broadway 10 Bar & Chophouse. I'm told some of the owners are Cowboy grads.

Packard's New American Kitchen (built inside and old Packard car dealership)

Red Prime Steak House.

Broadway 10 and Red Prime are both located in the Automobile Alley historic district downtown, Packard's isn't far from them either, located on NW 10th. I've been to all several times, great atmosphere, never disappointed.

Have heard really good things about The Drake....new seafood joint in town.

Sean Cummings has opened Land and Sea in the spot of his old Irish Pub. I haven't been in yet, but EVERY SINGLE restaurant he has ever owned and run has been excellent. His wife, Kathy's, Italian restaurant is right next door and excellent as well. The Cummings family are good people and you will find them there running the place most every night.

Vito's is bomb. Great red sauce. I am going to have to get up there to try the seafood joint.

Went to the Drake the other night and it was great. However, you will blow through $50 pretty quickly there.

I had that the other night and was impressed with everything except the actual, main fish entree. They didn't have a great selection of real good fish, of all things. It was exotic stuff I've never heard of (and wasn't remarkable, imo) with none of the high end halibut, sword, tuna, sea bass, etc. you'd expect to see in a good seafood place. Every single other thing was an A or A+ though.
