Midway at James Kenan

Midway is done playing JV teams and will be stepping up to Varsity finally with conference play. We will see their high rank falling starting Friday.
Of all the ECC games this week it has the most potential to be somewhat interesting. 6 0f one half dozen of the other. Maybe a little in favor of JK, maybe.
Yes, this is one of the games on a Pick em in play on another message board, and I went back and forth, initially leaning toward JK when I knew about Midway's lack of really being tested.....and then I saw JK's schedule and didn't think it was any better and kept going back and forth and eventually went with Midway (which the way my picks have gone this year, probably means that JK will win)
Said this over the Summer Midway's 9th and 10th grade class is legit as you starting to see some of that talent come forward....but still believe they are a year away...conf play going to even them out a bit this year but this game could go either way.......next year tho wont be surprised to see them in the top 3 in conference...heard it here first

Like i said Midway has a pretty good young class coming up some already in the forefront on varsity the QB leading the offense a sophomore....like i said i dont think its happening this year but in the next year or 2 have the potential to be very good......and bit farfetched to see Midway being good in football yes it doesnt happen often but have had some good teams....wasnt it Midway in 2008 that knocked a undefeated defending Champ James Kenan out the playoffs
Yes and that game still confuses the hell out of me. Almost as much as Rosewood in 2015

Last place is reserved for Midway or East Duplin. That was the gift left by Spring Creek. Midway will do a fine job bringing up the rear. Here’s to Midway MAYBE winning one game the rest of the season and losing in the 1st round.
Speed kills. I hope Midway brings the whole town Friday night so they can see just how below average they are.

I think jk wins by a td, somewhere around 28-21 but I hope Midway pounds jk in the ground 42-0.

I'm not a gloater but it does feel good to see ole lady Karma serve up some crow sandwiches with a slice of humble pie. Midway may go 0-4 from here out but at the moment tonight's win is very gratifying after reading some of the mess on this thread and the ECC thread.
