In our losses, we were in every game in the 4th quarter, and should have won 2 of them.

UK lost to UF by 30, LSU by 30, and USC by 50.

And will take us a minimum of 2 years to at least get back to where we were before the season started with momentum, recruting classes, etc.

I personally would still attend homecoming and the Egg Bowl if we lost to UK, but you wont catch me at Bama. I have better things to do than to witness an *** raping. I would shift my focus to basketball season too.

to beat La Tech and UAB. That being said, we beat UKie by 50, like the Kang used to. We could beat UK blindfolded this year. Regardless of how bad our everything is, theirs is twice as bad. And unfortunatly, they will keep the Bars from going winless in the SEC too.

Was it 1993 when Bamer won the National Championship against Miami, ranked #2 coming into Starkville and we had them beat till about 4 minutes left in the 4th? One of the best games I have ever been to. We were the only team that even competed with them the whole year. Besides, LSU busts that cherry before we play them.

...this is a game MSU literally has to win.

If not, a team that began the season ranked is rendered a laughingstock; its coach revealed to be a court jester.

Most years, the MSU vs. UK winner is decided by the kicking game.

I don't see this game being any different.

It will go down to the wire & which ever team has the best kicking game wins.

is a "gimmee"..or "automatic win" or any of those kinds of terms or anything related to those terms...it just ain't in the cards for that kind of shat to ring true. I would certainly hope and expect that Coarch Mullen and staff can get these boys ready to go up there and take care of business...it's a TCB game...it's a gut check..and that's what it's all about..now.

We ended up in the peach
Knew it was sometime around then. Was a hell of a game. We have played them well in Starkville most years. I think Tennersee showed what to do to slow down their running game.It could happen that they re not at full firepower by the time they come to Vegas. Not saying I hope that, just saying I'll cheer like a fool while hoping that player is alright.

but historically in this series, the only time Kentucky gave us a game if they were teetering on bowl contension or have stud players, i.e. their QB last year. They are in no danger of either this year. Im 99% sure our players will have this game on all their high-light reels.

But wasn't that when Michael Davis had a damn good game? I remember him putting his head down and running all over them one year and us losing it in the fourth... I do remember watching the natl championship game from the ritz in atl.

I do believe. And Hattiesburg's own Greg Plump as QB. Dude carried a bullet in him. Sherrill loved the thugs...

Russell will start. He will continue to improve and MSU will win this one. That is what will happen.

The 94 game was Davis, Bouie, and Moulds. It was very similar to the 92 game. Played them a helluva game and lost it in the end.

LOL at 42:00 mark, flashing scores from around the country and Florida hung 70 on Tulane that day. 17'n Steve Spurrier...

ETA: I wish Sherrill had been able to hold on to Watson Brown as OC for a few more years. We rolled with that duo.

The question was whatIF we lose, not do you think we will lose.

IF we lose, it will be horrible. The season will basically be over.

A meltdown of epic proportions. It will take Mullen quite a while to rebound from such, if he ever does. Also, anyone who thinks this can't happen is a 17ing idiot.

Guess that is why when you ride around Rankin County you see as many LSU and Bama Flags hanging outside the house as you do MSU or Mississippi flags. They never WENT to Bama or LSU, but they sure love the front-runner.

to La Tech and trail UAB (winless) at halftime. UT-Martin is a 95% chance win (I remember Maine), but playing Kentucky on the road is hardly a just-show-up-and-play win for M-State. I'd say we have a 70% chance of winning.

No way we lose this game. I see Tyler starting, playing well & us getting back to pounding the football with Vick & Darius. I also see Nick getting carries in this one as well. They are bad, REAL bad. And I wished people would calm the crap down. Yes we ONLY have 3 wins right now, but we played LSU better than anybidy including a too tier Oregon team. The only game i'm disappointed w/ is Auburn. UAB, Relf was hurt & can't function. LaTech is NOT that bad of a football team. They beat a team this past weekend that beat BYU. Georgia WILL win the East. SC if Lattimore didn't get hurt they would challenge Georgia for east title. Man, this is life in the SEC. You would think we wouldv'e gotten used to it by now. We were ALL too wooly before the season started and it bit us in the keester. I still say, if Tobias doesn't get hurt, we beat Georgia, SC & Auburn. But that's me. We aren't THAT bad.

I'm not sure when we became such a lock to beat anyone. WE WERE DOWN AT THE HALF TO UAB, A WINLESS TEAM AT THAT TIME. I know Kentucky is bad, but lay off the sunshine if you think there's no chance we could lose.
